JB Cool® climate ceilings for Corda Campus

Corda Campus, the leading tech campus in Hasselt, is a business community for innovative companies and start-ups. The infrastructure offered to technology and high-tech service companies is flexible and customized. In addition to 56,000 m² of office space, Corda Campus also rents out 8,000 m² of studio space, 1,200 m² of laboratory space and some 4,000 m² divided into small offices. The offices and spaces are equipped with adapted techniques, such as HVAC air treatment. Beddeleem was responsible for the design, production and installation of all climate ceilings ('JB Cool®').

The JB Cool® climate ceiling of Beddeleem actively contributes to the creation of the ideal space with maximum comfort. The climate elements in the ceiling tiles replace the classic air conditioning or heating.

The climate ceiling consists of active and passive ceiling panels that have a positive influence on the air hygiene and climatic conditions in the room and also plays a tangible role in reducing the energy bill.

Adjustments : no problem

Ceiling tiles are suspended from a steel supporting structure. A cooling/heating element is installed in the tiles, giving the ceiling a cooling/heating capacity. The plenum is easily accessible for maintenance of the techniques.

Nico Van Opstaele from Beddeleem: "The architectural freedom in design is almost unlimited: ceiling modulation, panel dimensions, colours, perforations... The supporting structure of our modular climate ceiling enables to install partitions in both directions. The JB Cool® climate ceiling is also available as a free-hanging ceiling island".
